Digital out-of-home creative: Charity campaign combines outdoor, SMS and online
Small amounts add up to make a big difference. That’s the principle of the microcredit movement in developing countries, so it was a fitting theme for agency DLKW Lowe’s creative execution of a digital out-of-home advertising campaign for the Microloan Foundation.
The campaign, which ran on an Ocean Outdoor screen in a covered pedestrian walkway at the Westfield London mall in west London, urged consumers to donate a fixed amount via SMS text message.
Doing so added coins to an image on-screen, which built up to form the image of a woman representing those in sub-Saharan Africa to whom the Microloan Foundation lends.
