Digital Signage

Digital Signage in the classroom

Costs have come down and schools are looking at new ways to show their commitment to technology, not only to their students, but to the community as well. What they’re finding is that digital signage displays have multiple uses across the school, making the technology a great investment.

“There’s two major categories of the digital signage revolution so to speak,” explains Joe Simone, director of K-12 education at CDW-G. The first category is instant visual communication; the second, an interactive display solution. Schools are increasingly adding digital signage in new construction and renovations to take advantage of both of these features.

Digital Signage for Retail

Advertising is expensive and reaches many people who will never set foot in your store. That’s why StrandVision Digital Signage is tailor-made for retailers. Customers are already in your store but they may not know all of the items that you carry.

Just as end cap displays help sell products, digital signs are great for letting customers know about in-store specials, weekly flyer discounts, double coupons, preferred shopper promotions, etc. Digital signage can also be a revenue generator. Many vendors are eager to pay to run their ads on your digital signage system at the point of sale. 1. I like the trend of digital signage at school. The kids have something to interact with and also gain information from. Great stuff.

The StrandVision digital signage system also allows for multiple regions of information to be displayed on digital media players since students are so good at multi-tasking. That helps communicate faster and better.

According to some studies, there are students that can easily learn things through visuals, I believe digital signage would surely help students to recall the things being taught to them. This can help them develop their imagination and will also inspire them to discover more about so many things.

I agree with you Gab. Students are very impressionable to many forms of learning, and digital signage is a super way to reinforce what they learn. Many digital signage software systems can even allow students to create digital signage content for approval which really gets the student body very involved and creating / learning even more.
