Digital Signage – in healthcare settings
StrandVision Digital Signage is an effective way for medical providers – from individual practitioners to large hospitals and clinics – to reach the public and communicate with patients. The digital signage player can provide health/treatment information, hours and services, community events, local news and weather, etc. It’s a great way to highlight new services and facilities.
With StrandVision Digital Signage, the messages can be customized for each location so a single display or a group of displays can show targeted information that’s always timely, relevant and attractive. StrandVision Digital Signage is also great for multilingual communications, ensuring that speakers of other languages receive the same messages.
For less than you think, you can have StrandVision Digital Signage in your lobbies, waiting rooms, and lounges. To hear more about StrandVision’s digital signage software solutions for your healthcare organization, visit www.StrandVision.com or call 715-235-7446 (SIGN).
Hospitals in Myrtle Beach deploy check-in kiosks
The Grand Strand Regional and South Strand Medical Center emergency departments in Myrtle Beach, S.C., now have check-in kiosks available for incoming patients, according to an article on wmbfnews.com.
Patients can check in at the kiosks with their driver’s license or credit card for expedited information input, but patients can also manually enter their personal data on the kiosk touchscreen. Severe emergencies are taken into account, and the kiosk flags patients five and under or over 65 as priorities. An electronic log keeps the patients in sequential order until they can be triaged based on established clinical processes, the article said.
