StrandVision Supports International Languages

StrandVision Digital Signage has announced support for international language character sets on its Digital Signage playback and accompanying Web setup area that customers use to develop their signage pages. The expanded language support uses Universal Character Set Transformation Format — 8-bit (UTF-8), the dominant character encoding for database-oriented systems and the World Wide Web.

International Sign Association focusing on Digital Signage

The International Sign Association has announced it has launched a new section of its website focusing on digital signage.

The move is part of the ISA’s effort to help sign companies learn from those who already have entered the digital signage field, the group said. The section includes a white paper exploring the opportunities that dynamic digital signage offers static sign companies and case studies of sign companies that have completed installations of digital projects.
