Digital Signage for Schools & Universities
Elementary and high schools, as well as post graduate universities, are turning to digital signage as an exciting and technologically-oriented way to build community and communicate important academic information throughout buildings and campuses and across districts. Designed to supplement traditional communications, such as daily announcements and poster boards, the digital signs provide school communication that is timely and efficient. They can also be used as part of a comprehensive emergency notification system that overrides normal programming.

Connecting to the connected generation with on-campus digital signage
As the younger always-connected generation heads to college, digital signage is being used to reach out to those students and to bridge the gap between stodgy older institutions and brash digital natives. To wit, 2,200 campuses in North America were expected to deploy digital signage systems in 2011, up from 1,500 the year before, according to eCampus News and Northern Sky Research, for a total in 2011 of 13,000 displays across those campuses.
