Digital Signage – Displays

Digital Projectors Provide Another Display Option for Digital Signage Networks

Digital signage displays are everywhere from handheld devices and small embedded screens to pedestal displays, video walls and even building facades. I don’t think any of our StrandVision Digital Signage Displays are that large but there is occasionally the need for a larger format display that would be prohibitively expensive to satisfy with a typical flat screen monitor. In this case you can turn to a digital projector. Technically it’s pretty easy since projectors now take HDMI inputs so it’s pretty much plug and play.

For an article on some of the considerations of using digital projectors for digital signage check out the article by Richard Venture in DigitalSignageeToday.com called “Projectors edging into digital signage applications.”
