You Can’t Rely on Just Digital Signage
As positive as I am on Digital Signage even I recognize that electronic signage is only part (an important part) of comprehensive marketing and employee communications campaigns. It should be designed and implemented not to just repeat the same information but to take advantage of the medium to present information in new ways at the right time and in the right place.
Digital signage has the advantage of animation and the ability to be presented when and where customers or employees gather and are receptive to receiving information. Ideal communications campaigns use several tools – advertising, online promotions, price promotions and other marketing programs, so that when people are ready and able to buy, the digital signage can help close the sale.
