Watch out for

In case any of you ever run into for press release distribution, please be cautious!

I was just going through and cleaning up my emails and remembered that I never received a response from anyone at Eteligis after bugging them for over 3 months.  We had done their highest cost press release with a month of social networking along with youtube video and several other things.  I had emailed several times and had only saw the pickups from when the press release was distributed.

Even after paying big bucks and requesting information from multiple people at Eteligis, I never saw a video (if one was even done) and have no clue if any of the social networking work was done.  The only report received what was distributed on the day of the release.  Our web site traffic did not increase.  I received no updates, information or anything about the supposed 30 days of social networking that was part of my $900 press release distribution investment (normally $2,700 without the promotional discount).  Beyond that, we had gobs of issues getting promotion codes to work, the release uploaded and getting the pricing adjusted to the agreed upon price (without a bunch of up charges that they tried to tack on).  With all the confusion, the release almost did not go out on time twice.

I was so hoping that Eteligis would be as amazing as I thought they would be.  As you can tell, I do not feel that way by any stretch – and do not recommend that anyone use them.  Normally I do not bad mouth any organization, but my experience with Eteligis was hands down the worst I have ever had with anything I have purchased in my 25+ years of owning technology companies.  Stay away from them unless you really have money to throw away.  If you stay on top of them, you will probably get your initial release distributed, but will pay at least 4 times the going rate for just distribution.

If anyone has questions – or if Eteligis has anything to say, please comment or email me at  Thanks and have a great weekend!
