Email Campaign Tips

Most companies are interested in communicating with their customers in one form or another. This is an area where you can ask about new ways of marketing to your customers as well as share your experiences of advertising to your customers. Remember to include what type of business you work at in your postings.

If you are doing email campaigns to anyone, I found that with my first email, I got about .5% of the people to sign up. Start it about 2 weeks before the event. With a second reminder email about a week beforehand, I got about 1% more people signed up. The day before the event, I got about 3% more people signed up. More emails may get somewhat bigger results, but as you can see, 3 emails in a series definately is worthwhile. I suspect that people dont read all their emails or they forget.
