Many companies are in the midst of planning next year's budget during the month of October as this process is typically held within the last quarter of their fiscal year. If you're not sure about timing of your customers’ fiscal year, now is a great time to call them. It is an excellent time to talk to your prospects to encourage them to think about a StrandVision installation in the new fiscal year or a pilot now as they develop their plans. Within the United States, the majority of companies tie their fiscal year into the calendar year (January through December) or the Federal government calendar (October through September).
Proving the point that now is the time to act, StrandVision was invited to do a workshop and participate in a booth at the Wisconsin Bankers Association -- 2006 Technology Conference on September 26, 2006. This was an excellent opportunity for us to educate the banking attendees about digital signage. The show went very well and spurred a lot of interest. We have confirmed that fiscal year-end planning is ramping up this fourth quarter of 2006 within the financial and government communities as evidenced by the high level of interest at the conference and the willingness of the participants to consider budgeting for StrandVision digital signs.
Also, we have received calls from end users in a variety of other vertical markets that are now in the budgeting process as well. Please let us know what more we can do to assist with closing digital signage opportunities during this fourth quarter of 2006.
