The obvious solution to becoming a morning person is getting more sleep. If you get 7-9 hours of sleep, you will wake up the next day feeling much more rested because, well, you are.
Create a routine. If you go to bed at around the same time every night and set your alarm for the same time every morning, your body will start to recognize the pattern and accept it.
While it may be nice to lay in bed after waking up, this extends our grogginess. When you wake up, leave your bedroom, turn on lights, and do some sort of physical or mental activity.
A workspace should encourage you to work, not distract you. Your environment affects your mood which directly impacts your motivation, so make sure your environment is right for you.
Personalize your workspace. Each employee knows what works best for them, so we want to hear your suggestions.
While there are restrictions as to how far you can alter your workspace, please bring ideas to your floor manager, and we will do what we can to accommodate you.
Procrastinate. We all do it in small doses now and then, but for many people, it becomes a habit that interferes with their career and life goals.
Fight procrastination. Start working ahead whenever you get free time to prevent work from piling up later.
