2009 marked StrandVision's 5th year in the digital signage market. It was a year of continued enhancements and a maturing of our offerings and business marketing. It also held several improvements for our growing list of reseller partners. This, coupled with the continued growth of the market, makes it likely that 2010 will lead to increasing sales and profits for you.
We've expanded our digital signage software offerings and added a PC/display hardware package. We've also made it easier for you to manage your online StrandVision account and service your customers. We've established a lead tracking program that helps you manage the sales process. And, of course, we continue to provide outstanding online and telephone support and training. StrandVision continues to offer some of the best reseller discounts in the business and our SaaS approach makes StrandVision Digital Signage an easy product to sell and support.
We've also added several user features, including scheduling features and an Emergency suite of notices that immediately overrides regular programming. We've introduced several graphics enhancements and made managing both text and graphics easier. One of the important enhancements is "Proof of Playback" (see separate article in this newsletter); this enables users to track and report playbacks of pages, graphics and videos - a crucial capability for customers that sell advertising on their StrandVision Digital Signage systems.
These new features are built on a robust technology backbone that delivers digital signage directly to multiple sites using an SaaS approach while offering the flexibility of extended distribution using our on-premises server and/or our PC-2-TV.net converter.
On the business marketing side, Mike Strand now has a regular column in VSR Online that enhances our dialog with resellers. We continue our Webinar series, started social networking initiatives on LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., beefed up the StrandVision Forum and redesigned our Web presence in order to be more user friendly and to collect leads that we can pass on to you. We have a comprehensive set of market-specific case studies in several verticals to help you demonstrate how StrandVision can help your prospects.
